講座內(nèi)容:

Clean energy technologies represent a promising solution to the global warming challenge. Many clean energy technologies, however, depend on some rare materials and concerns have been raised recently. This talk explores modeling techniques that can be used to understand how materials scarcity and competition from alternative uses affects the potential for widespread deployment of renewable electricity generation in the long run, in light of related technology and policy uncertainties. Indium is taken as the example and some observations from computable partial equilibrium model and system dynamics simulation are discussed.

主講人簡(jiǎn)介:

趙浮副教授現(xiàn)任職于普渡大學(xué)機(jī)械工程學(xué)院環(huán)境與生態(tài)工程系,擔(dān)任美國(guó)機(jī)械工程師協(xié)會(huì)工程設(shè)計(jì)分會(huì)制造設(shè)計(jì)與生命周期技術(shù)委員會(huì)副主席,其研究方向?yàn)榭沙掷m(xù)設(shè)計(jì)與制造,尤其是概念設(shè)計(jì)、制造過程表征、生產(chǎn)計(jì)劃、能源有效規(guī)劃、以及產(chǎn)品生命末期管理、生命周期發(fā)展分析法在可持續(xù)性評(píng)估方面的應(yīng)用以及再生能源系統(tǒng)的相關(guān)政策規(guī)劃等領(lǐng)域的研究。趙浮教授已在相關(guān)領(lǐng)域期刊和會(huì)議發(fā)表了100多篇文章,并獲得了第43屆SME North American Manufacturing Research Conference的優(yōu)秀論文獎(jiǎng),其研究得到了美國(guó)國(guó)家科學(xué)基金會(huì)、美國(guó)能源部、美國(guó)環(huán)境保護(hù)署和工業(yè)界的支持。
