講座內(nèi)容:
Clean energy technologies
represent a promising solution to the global warming challenge. Many clean
energy technologies, however, depend on some rare materials and concerns have
been raised recently. This talk explores modeling techniques that can be used
to understand how materials scarcity and competition from alternative uses
affects the potential for widespread deployment of renewable electricity
generation in the long run, in light of related technology and policy
uncertainties. Indium is taken as the example and some observations from
computable partial equilibrium model and system dynamics simulation are
discussed.
